Manuel Portela vence en la Voltiña
El domingo 9 de enero de 1983 se celebró la "voltiña" a la provincia de Pontevedra. Una prueba de regularidad de tan solo una jornada, con 141 kilómetros divididos en tres etapas: Vigo-Tuy, Tuy-La Guardia y La Guardia-Vigo. De los 32 participantes que salieron del Parque de Castrelos, Manuel Portela (Vespa) se proclamó vencedor por delante de Juan Carlos Caldas (BMW), Agustín Lorenzo (Guzzi), Carlos García (Guzzi) y Salvador de Saas (Vespa).
